Azure mobile
Microsoft still working to hire and promote open source code through their latest acquisition like Github and Citus data. However, Microsoft still have opportunity in the mobility area at least through the developers community world-wide. I have some suggestions for Microsoft , might be considered for better mobility developers community at least.. Open source. Provide the Windows phone as open source platform for the community , utilize the github for building community around the platform. That will create initial developers’ community about the platform. The community can try to run the platform over multi hardware and give new exposure for Microsoft and closer to developer community specially in Github. Rewarding system. Assign rewarding system for best platforms updates , add-ons , modification , major innovation and etc. Create competition world-wide and reward all the developer’s community. You can cover the owning of the IP within the competition and rewarding. Utilize gethub for world-wide competition with localization focus as well. Promote Azure for mobility. Change the name to Azure phone or mobile , Azure need to be also in mobility area , utilize the successful benefits of the Azure for mobility. Provide Paas “phone as service” for developer community and lets them even try it online with open source coding. Use the phone for future trends. You can promote the Azure phone for VR , AR and even for Xbox future gaming , you can provide a game terminal for running games on the cloud.Terminal/server games can be like Nintendo handheld , when games running in the cloud which is the next trend for Xbox gaming. Enterprise target. Provide the Azure phone for secured inner networking for enterprise companies , to use the azure phone only for enterprise companies , totally secured and linked to the inner networking with secured access to the net. That provide more secured smart phone applications and salutations. Terminal/server model can work for phones here , and even running simple module of Azure phone in existing or old phones can be done. For enterprise solution to use specially phone for work apps/solutions might be a trend in the future.nbsp; Going vertically. Azure phone can go vertically instead of phone target everyone. Such as the enterprise model mentioned above or even Azure phone for kids with less radiation and limited access , Azure phone for specific industry like Army , Fintech , Smart city , constructions sites and others. I still believe Microsoft should not ever gave up in phone platforms, ever!!.
